Did you know you can eat all parts of the daylily plant? They are used in many dishes in Asia. We seem to have an abundance of them here, so I have been nibbling on them lately. Quite tasty. And, they must be loaded with vitamins, just looking at their bright orange color. Now, don't go gobbling down several blossoms(I know you are intrigued now), be sure to take a little bit and wait a while to be sure you are not one of the few people allergic to one of the compounds in the plant. Enjoy:)

The Cattail plant is a regular smorgasbord too. Just be careful where you harvest them!
Ayla...HUM.... I mean Angie
Don't you worry about animals christening the plant??
Or, do you wash them first?? ;)
