Ani checked out How to Talk to Your Cat and spent the evening analyzing Sun's every move. I'm not certain Sun enjoyed the attention, but Ani could have a bright future in pet psychology.
She is also intrigued with Kate DiCamillo's The Tale of Despereaux. Erika adored this book at the same age, and has gone on to read several others that she has enjoyed, including The Magnificent Journey of Edward Tulane, and Because of Winn Dixie. All of which are highly recommended by Erika.
