Last night was our Church's annual nativity. It is always a fun time to gather and sing Christmas carols while the children act out the story of Christ's birth. Over the years the girls have played most of the parts. Erika was a narrator, and I must say I am quite impressed with her public speaking skills. Her speech she had to do in Language Arts paid off. This year Annika was a shepard for the first time - she looked adorable toting her black sheep and staff. I asked if she wanted me to braid her hair before the performance, but she said she was supposed to look like a poor shepard, and braids wouldn't fit the part!
