Dave and I enjoyed a night out on Wednesday at our old stomping ground - The Blue Note. We went and saw Wilco, one of my favorite bands evah! I think they played for over 2 hours and had 2 encores. I was so hoping they would play a song or two from Mermaid Avenue, and to my surprise, they did. Two! And, just not five minutes after I leaned over to Dave and told him I wished they would play Casino Queen, they DID! We try to catch Wilco whenever they are in town - we have been going to see them since the early 90's when we started dating, so it is sort of nostalgic. Good stuff.
